Adolphia "Delphie" Augusta Michaud

December 1, 1922 ~ September 2, 2017 (age 94) 94 Years Old

Adolphia Augusta Michaud passed away from natural causes on September 2, 2017 at the age of 94.  A funeral service will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Adolphia, or Delphie as she was better known, was born December 1, 1922 in Belt, Montana to Otto and Ellen Polutnik. She was raised in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High in 1940. Later that year she was married to her first husband, Eldon Knudson. She got her first job at the local Dairy Queen and was proud to be the first person hired for their new staff. She and Eldon had three children, Sharon, Gary, Kermie.  She stayed involved in her children’s lives by becoming a Campfire Leader as well as serving on the PTA as President. She also worked as a floor manager for Kress’s, and later as a school bus driver.

Delphie married Roy Michaud, in 1965 in Idaho. In the early 1970’s she & Roy moved to Las Vegas, where she took up golf. They stayed there until 1991, when they moved to Corvallis, Montana to retire. She used her retirement to play more golf and to cherish time with family. She was so very proud of her family! She also loved crocheting, fishing, reading, gardening and watching the Grizzlies.

Delphie is survived by two of her children, Sharon (David) Williams and Gary (Marj) Knudson; grandchildren, Kim (Randy) Dahl, Raelee (Dale) Chappell, Shawna (Mark) Rothwell, Stewart (Allison) Williams, Leanne (Gene) Bailly, and Mark (Ruth) Williams; great-grandchildren, Cherie, Michael, Dylan, Jesse, and Sarah Dahl, Breanna Chappell, Robbie, and Jared Williams, Deanna, Garrison, and Derek Rothwell, Jenna and Alexa Bailly; great-great granddaughters, Brynn, Madison and Allora; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Michaud; son, Kermie Knudson; brothers, Carl, Francis, and Charles Polutnik; sisters, Helen Remington and Marie Booth; grandson, Christopher Knudson; and great-granddaughter, Kelsey Rothwell.
