Alice Dora Martin, 83, of Glasgow, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 due to natural causes. Visitation will be held in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home, Thursday, September 7th from 6-8 PM. The Funeral Service will be at Croxford Funeral Home, Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior. Burial will directly follow the service at Highland Cemetery.

Alice was born on December 14, 1933 in Spinekoff, MT to Carl and Dora Sundberg. She spent part of her life in Spinekoff before being raised in Geyser. She attended school in both areas, and went on to graduate from Mary Cliff Catholic School in Spokane, WA. She met the love of her life, Ben and they wed in September of 1964. Their marriage brought many treasured memories. Alice was a beautiful, loving and very hardworking woman, all her life. She was able to raise five children, have three jobs to make ends meet. Alice and Ben then started Dutchman’s in Great Falls, Ben was the best chef and Alice was the, “best money manager”. They then worked in the construction field, she was a heck of a concrete layer. She went on to work in the Health Field, you could say, she was a heck of a hard worker; a Jack of all trades.

The biggest job was raising five beautiful children, instilling strong work ethics and always believing in the family unit. Alice would always say, “Stick with me through the hard times and we will all be there for the good times.” Alice deeply believed in her lord and savior and now she is now with him. She will be greatly missed by all, but she will always be with us, in our hearts until we are able to join her.

Survivors are Husband, Ben Martin of Glasgow, MT; children, John (Mary) Lamb of Glasgow, MT, Debra Waters, (Guy) of Meridian, ID, Gene Lamb, (Melinda) of Great Falls, MT, Deann Lamb, (Dan) of Big Fork, MT, Michael Lamb of Great Falls, MT; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many friends.

Those who have preceded Alice in death include her parents; all her sisters, brothers, and their beloved dog Toby, Jake and Joey.
