How do you measure a life? One way might be by how many lives you have touched, or maybe the memories you leave behind. Surly in 71 years those memories and lives touched and changed for the better are insurmountable. A treasure trove of good times, if not great times. Barbara did exactly that, and because of that will live forever in the hearts and minds of her adoring family.

  How do you summarize a life as full as Barbara Komeotis? You can't. She was wife, a mother, a grandmother to 39, a great-grandmother To 21 and a friend to all.  To say she will be missed is an understatement. 

  Her husband Joseph reminisced about her early years starting with a day her parents Harry and Clara Henderson received a gift that they named Barbara Elaine on August 30, 1945 in Great Falls. They raised her in town where she later attended from Great Falls High.

  May of 1963 began a love story for the ages. You see that's when she married the love her life, Joseph Komeotis. The romance spurred her greatest achievement, eight beautiful children; Thomas, Paul, Harold, David, Robert, Joey, Laurie and Cindy Henderson. She then proudly took on the most important job there is, Homemaker. Together a home is what they made.

 A people person who enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, bingo and playing pool, until the she was called home on June 19.

  She will be missed by her husband Joseph; sons, Thomas, Paul, Harold, David, Robert, and joey all of whom are from Great Falls; a daughter, Laurie Harden; brothers, Joe Henderson and Henry Henderson; sisters, Judy Carrier, and Sylvia Kriedman also from Great Falls; 39 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

  Now reunited with her parents; daughter, Cindy Henderson; four brothers and two sisters. Forever loved by her family and many friends.
