Curtis Zook, 54, of Vaughn, passed away on May 26, 2016. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Croxford Funeral Home.

He was born on February 18, 1962 in Glasgow, MT to Marlow and Virdene Zook.  He graduated from Simms High School and joined the Army Reserves serving 6 years.

 His interests included hunting, fishing, restoring older vehicles, electronics, and he had an extra passion for Marital Arts. Curtis is the holder of the Blackbelt in 1st Dan Hapkido and was a qualified lifetime Instructor and Umpire with the USA-Korean Karate Association.  He also held a certificate of Senior Judo Sankyu Rank. 

Curtis worked in auto body repair, auto part sales, customer service, and at the great Falls Animal Shelter.  He loved and cared deeply for all animals, especially dogs, often known as the “dog whisperer”.  The last several years Curtis was dedicated to caregiving for his parents.

He is survived by his mother, Virdene Zook; sisters, Carolyn (Wes) Sheldon, Nancy Lee, and Valerie (Tim) Croft; brother, Marlon (Bonnie) Zook; his faithful dog, Shelly and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Marlow Zook.
