Dixie Lorene Converse, 53, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at her home after a battle with cancer.  Cremation will take place under the care of Croxford Funeral Home.  Please join us for a Celebration of Life Wednesday, July 12th at 4:30 at 1109 5th Ave. South, Great Falls.

Jack and Clara Converse welcomed Dixie into their lives on February 23, 1964.  One of six children, she was born and raised in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School.  Dixie was unable to work due to a disability, but enjoyed walking, spending time with family and friends, and loved to gamble.

Dixie is survived by her sisters, Tina Monroe and Roberta Erickson; brothers, Kelly Converse and Dennis Barr; five nieces; three nephews; boyfriend, Terry Biggs.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Barr.
