On December 11, 2017 our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Donald John Depner, 86, passed peacefully away of natural causes.  Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home.  Per his wishes, no formal services will be held.

Born April 23, 1931 in Farmington, MT to John and Martha Depner, Don attended the local schools prior to entering the service.  He was a member of the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Korean War.  On June 17, 1961 he married his one true love, Joyce Werner, and they remained together until his passing.

Don worked for Safeway Stores in Choteau, Great Falls, Conrad and Glasgow.  He farmed, worked at the feed lot for North Montana Feeder, and was a self-employed manure hauler. You could always find Don working in his garage, building things, or outside mowing on his John Deer mower.  He loved dancing and held his family very dear to his heart. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce; sisters, Betty and Maxine; sister-in-law, Donna Ruhoff; brother-in-law, Donald Werner; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Sonja Depner, and Stacie Spencer.
