Donald Ehnes, 79, of Great Falls, passed away November 1, 2017 due to natural causes. A visitation will be held at Croxford Funeral Home on Monday November 6 from 4 to 6 PM. Funeral service will also be held at Croxford Funeral Home at 11 o’clock on Tuesday November 7.

Don was born on June 28, 1938 in Fort Benton, MT to parents, Nickademus and Isabelle Ehnes. Don met Marianne and he knew she was the one, they soon wed and had a daughter and two sons. Don decided to join the Air Force which he stayed in for three years. He then went on to join the Great Falls Police Department for Twenty years and retired in 1982. He then went on to work for the Uniten Materials and retired in 2002.

Don was happiest outdoors. He loved living in Montana because of all the beauty it had to offer. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and snowmobiling the most.

Survivors are wife, Marianne Ehnes; daughter, Tonia Neubauer; sons, Tim and Todd Ehnes; sister, Barb Hankins; brothers, Vick, John, and Ray Ehnes. Don will be leaving behind 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Those who have preceded Don in death include parents; his brother, Steven Ehnes.
