Gerald Eugene Thompson, 65, of Lewistown, MT, passed away of natural causes on March 18, 2017. A Memorial Service is being held Friday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.   

Gerald, or Jerry, as his friends knew him, was born February 12, 1952 in Great Falls. He spent his childhood working with his father on a ranch, where he enjoyed working with the horses and cattle. When his father owned a car wash, Jerry was always right there with his dad, lending a helping hand where ever he could. He enjoyed helping people in any way he could. He was loved by many for just being himself.

Jerry liked to go fishing and spent many hours riding his bicycle. His favorite T.V. shows were westerns.

Survivors include his sisters, Ricklay Smith and Cheryl Pehrson; as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Corky” Thompson and his mother, June Thompson.
