Gregory Weninger, 66, passed away at his home in Cascade, MT on Sunday, October 22, 2017. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home.

Born in Great Falls, MT on November 11, 1950 to Nicholas Joseph and Martha Miller Weninger, Greg attended the local schools, graduating from Great Falls High.  He joined the U.S. Army in February of 1970, transferred to the U.S. Army Reserve in October of 1971 and completed his obligation in February of 1976. 

Greg enjoyed the outdoors, taking in all the beauty the state of Montana had to offer.  He often headed out to the lakes and streams to go fishing and camping under the big sky.  An avid antique collector, he would hit the second-hand stores and yard sales in hopes of a special find.   He worked his entire life, retiring as the head of maintenance at Missouri River Manor.

He will be missed by his son, Brent Weninger; sisters, Gayle (Scott) Carnahan, Gwen Weninger Grimshaw; brothers, Gary (Jan) Weninger, Gordon Weninger, Gerard (Bev) Weninger, Garret (Bethh) Weninger; grandchildren, Katelyn and Darian; very good friends, Dallas Clark, Earl Keeny, Barb Cantrell and cousin, Doug Miller.
