Lorraine was such a sweet soul. She had called me a few weeks ago and we had such a nice visit. She told me then that she was being treated for lung cancer but had such a positive outlook that it came as quite a surprise when I heard of her passing. She was the last of the Rainbow House apartment foursome that I got to know in the time my mom lived there. I know how much she missed my mom and I will be forever grateful to her for all she did for my mom. I just know now that my mom has introduced Lorraine and Monte to my dad, Jim, and that all four of them are enjoying their morning coffee together. She will be missed.
