Louise Marie Bruno, 92, of Great Falls, passed away from natural causes at Missouri River Manor on Saturday, January 14, 2017.
A Rosary and Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home, 1307 Central Avenue, Great Falls, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor, Friday, January 20, 2017 in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Louise Marie DuBois was born June 25, 1924 in Havre, Montana to parents, Francis and Elizabeth (Henry) DuBois. She spent her childhood in Havre, completing her education at Flandreau High School in South Dakota.
She and Floyd Bruno were united in marriage and their family was completed with ten children. Louise dedicated her life to her family and was the ultimate homemaker. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as visiting with her brother Elmer.
She was a gifted quiltmaker and her patchwork quilts are works of art her family will cherish for generations.
Louise is survived by her loving family, children, Jeannie (Allen) Magnus, of North Heights, CA; Susan (Ricky Cleland) Bruno, of Great Falls; Vicki (Tony) LaMere of Great Falls; Kenneth Bruno, of Billings, MT; Lee Torno of Billings, MT; Frank Bruno, of Helena, MT; and Joseph (Barb) DuBois, of Box Elder, MT. Her brothers, Elmer DuBois of Great Falls, MT; and James DuBois of Box Elder, MT. Thirty-two grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd A. Bruno; her parents; sisters, Josephine Thingstad and Betty St. Marks; daughter, Cindy Bruno; sons, James Bruno and Leonard Bruno; grandson, Steven Lopez; great-granddaughter, Rikki Rae LeDeau; great-great grandson, Aaron DuBois; great-great granddaughter, Tomi Ray; and great-great-great-grandson, Amain DuBois.
