Claudette and family, it is with much sorrow that I read this. Lou swore me in at my own commissioning ceremony. So many good memories of my youth came through your household. He was a good and honorable man. I think of you and your family often and wish the best for all of you. If there is anything you need please do not hesitate to contact me.

I appreciate all the excellent care given my airplane by Lu and Rich over the years I think it is especially nice that after he sold Front Range Aviation Lu continued to come up there and hang out with the Sunday morning coffee drinkers. He always had such great stories to tell, and he was such a master at telling them. I think he's probably the best story teller I have ever met. I will miss him on Sunday mornings, as will many others I am sure.
