Lynn “Vega” Duwayne Houle, 60, of Great Falls, MT, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 due to natural causes. Visitation is March 29, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Croxford Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will be held March 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home.

Lynn was born January 29, 1957 in Great Falls, MT to William George Houle and Selina Josephine Martell. In 1986, he married Connie Jo Blackbird with whom they had 3 children; Renee Houle, Robert (Janelle) and Richard “RJ” Houle, all Great Falls, MT. He fully accepted the lifelong position as a stay at home father, but also enjoyed many summers proudly serving as a wild lands firefighter. They later divorced, but Connie Jo remained the love of his life ‘til his final day. Lynn was the proudest grandpa of 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Lynn enjoyed fishing with his sons, watching NASCAR, going to stock car races, but always spending whatever time possible with his children, grandchildren, and his sister Annie. He also made it a point of going to see “Papa’s” baby Harper Lynne, all day, every day.

Survivors include his sisters, Annie Bercier Houle of Great Falls, MT, Nancy Houle of Spokane, WA; numerous nieces and nephews.

Those who have preceded Lynn in death include parents; sisters, Vicki Buttolph, Lorraine Rime; brother, Pete Houle; and the love of his life, Connie Jo Blackbird Houle

Lynn “Vega” will be truly missed and never forgotten.
