Mary “Louise” Heckford, 92, passed away August 30, 2016 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she lived for the past 3.5 years.

She was born March 11, 1924 in Belt, Montana. Louise previously lived in Power, Montana for 68 years. She graduated in 1942 from Great Falls High School.

Louise enjoyed playing cards and while living in Power was a member of the Senior Citizens Center, Guardian Angel Catholic Church, and very active in her community.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Heckford; three children, Nancy Colgan of Cheyenne, Don Heckford of Culver, Indiana, and Dan Heckford of Power; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Jessie Ashworth.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, Sept. 5, at Croxford Funeral Home, 1307 Central Avenue in Great Falls, Montana.  Interment of her urn will immediately follow at Manchester Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Guardian Angel Catholic Church, 104 Central Ave, Power, MT  59468.
