So sorry for Matt’s passing and the lengthily delay as I just learned of this great loss. After my 36 years in education I retired, owned a K-9 service for many years and had the opportunity to provide inspection a Centerville high school where I met Matt. He was the best! It was obvious that he loved the students and his job. Matt was so professional at at the same time, approachable with such a great personality. I alway looked forward to my visits to the school and being able to share time with Matt, one of the very best administrators I had th e pleasure of knowing. God bless you Karla and you family.

Karla, Levi and Sarah. Our Sincere condolences go out to your family during this hard time. I am so blessed to have been able to work with Matt while I taught at Centerville. He had faith in me and hired me for my first teaching job out of college. I made memories and friends at Centerville that are still close to me today. I cherished the time I was able to spend with my Centerville Family, all due to Matt. God Bless,
Kyle, Emily, Mya, Kyler, and Colt Stenson

Our deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers over the entire McCale family. Matt was kind enough to give Kyle his very first teaching job! To this day Kyle still takes great pride in talking about his years at Centerville! Matt and Karla both were always very generous with their time and Matt will be missed terribly. All our love, Kyle and Emily

Mr. McCale, you were one of my most favorite teachers - you taught me history, PE, and driver’s ed, and you were my basketball coach. I learned so many things from you that I carry with me to this day. Thank you for showing me and all students kindness and for sharing your gift of teaching. You will be greatly missed. And to Mrs. McCale and the McCale family - my deepest condolences. I’m so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all.
