Oh, Matt. I've been trying to find you for a while now. I understand why you were unable to respond to my posts. I'm so sorry it took me so long to find out of your passing. You had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. I swear, you were so deep and spiritual that sometimes I thought you could actually read my mind.
I miss those days of the late '80s/early '90s. We had a lot of fun with a lot of people. Some of the best days of my life were spent hanging out with you. I really wanted to reconnect with you throughout the years.
I understand how the monkey on your back finally got you in the end. No matter what, you fought a valiant battle. And sometimes the darkness takes over and we can't take it anymore so we just give in to our demons. You still have me with you in spirit, my friend.
Wherever you are now, be happy and take joy in the time you had on this planet. I will always cherish the times I spent with you. Rest easy, good man.
