Modesto "JR" Rosales

Modesto “JR” Abarquez Rosales Jr, passed away on March 7th, 2018 at Benefis Hospital. JR was born in Great Falls, MT on October 25th, 1961 to Modesto and Juanita Rosales. He graduated from CMR High School in 1980.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Univ. of MT. Later, he attended Northern MT College for nursing and graduated in 1990. It was there he met his wife, Judy, in chemistry class. JR started his nursing career at the Columbus Hospital, later to be Benefis Hospital in ICU and Interventional Radiology.  His desire to own a bike shop led him to purchase the Knicker Biker bicycle shop.  He has continued to work at Benefis Hospitals periodically to continue his passion of patient care.

The Knicker Biker allowed JR to pursue his love of bike riding. Additional hobbies included spending time at the shooting range, playing billiards, hobby farming, boating/waterskiing.  JR loved spending time with his family.
 

JR is survived by his wife, Judy Rosales; his daughter, Samantha (Josh) Karr of Grand Island, NE; his sons, Jay Rosales of Great Falls, MT and Tony Rosales of South Bend, IN; his mother, Juanita Rosales of Great Falls, MT; his brothers, Mark (Lori) Rosales of Billings, MT and Tim Rosales of Butte, MT; his grandkids, Madison Rosales, Abigail Karr, JP Karr, and Ashton Coogan.

JR was preceded in death by his father Modesto Rosales Sr., and his sister, Carmen Rosales.

Memorial Service will be held March 12th, 2018 10:00 AM at 1st Baptist Church in Great Falls, MT.
