Penelope “Penny” Virginia Spooner, 64, of Great Falls, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at a local care facility of natural causes. A Memorial service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Croxford Funeral Home.

Penny was born on May 23, 1952 in Billings to Robert Bruce Pepper and Mary Virginia Hill. Penny started school in Billings but eventually moved to Great Falls and graduated from CMR High School. She attended Dahl’s College of Beauty, and went on to work at various salons throughout Great Falls for the next 20 years.  Penny took early retirement to take care of her ailing husband.

Penny had a lot of hobbies but her favorites were crocheting and knitting. She was also active in the Eagles Auxiliary for many years.

Survivors are brother, RC Pepper of Sun City ,AZ,  and several nieces and nephews.
