Teddy LaVern Young – Great Falls, born April 6, 1939, died at the age of 78. He battled Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years. He reunited with our mother on March 25, 2018.
Our father served in the Korean War. He was very proud of his time in the service as a marine. After his service, he married our mother, Barbara Nagel, and they were happily married for 45 years. They built a life in Great Falls where he made a career as a truck driver for Buttery’s Food for over 30 years.
Services will be held, Friday, March 30, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. Following the service, our father will be buried alongside his wife at the Manchester Cemetery. A reception will be held at 3D’s Supper Club after the burial services.
The wake will be held at Croxford Funeral Home on Thursday, March 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Our father is survived by his daughters, Jeanne Myers (Jeramy) and Jennifer Eberly (Marty), by his sons, Teddy Young, Jarrod Young (Cori), Russell Young (Shelly). Sisters, Cindy McElderry and Arletta Young. Grandchildren, Cole, Halley and Ian Myers, Mathea, Jacob and Caleb Eberly, Crystal Sevalstad, Tayler and Jordan Young. Great-Grandchildren, Levi Sevalstad.
Dad was preceded in death by his father, Grant and his mother, Bertha, and his wife, Barbara, brothers, Gordon, Bill, Mickey, Dwayne and sisters, Alice, Bethel, Hazel.
Dad, thank you for showing us how to be a family and work hard at everything in life.
