William A. Brown, 78, of Great Falls, passed away early Thursday morning, August 17, 2017.  A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 23rd at 2:00 PM at Highland Cemetery. 

Bill was born October 14, 1938 in Toppenish, WA to Lawrence and Gladys (Ritchie) Brown.  He was united in marriage to Irma Schaack in 1959 in Luxembourg, then divorced in 1990.  He then married Elaine Hanson and later divorced.

Bill served in the United States Air Force after high school.  Upon his return to Washington he worked as  a computer programmer.  He owned an excavation company in Montana and later went into truck driving. 

Grandpa enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping with family, and volunteering on the Ulm Fire Department.

Bill is survived by his two sons, Nicolas (Lanette) and Timothy (Marlo); grandchildren, Zackery and Kaela; two sisters, Barbara and Judy; girlfriend, Marie.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry.
