Amy Louise North, age 49, peacefully passed away the morning of April 30, 2019 in the loving care of the staff at Benefis Health System in Great Falls as a result of a severe stroke. A memorial service will be held at the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, May 11 at 3 p.m.  Please bring memories and pictures to share  Donations

            Born July 21, 1969, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, she is preceded in death by her mother and father, Shirley and Robert Conyers.  She spent her youth in Clancy and attended and graduated from Jefferson High School in Boulder.  She spent much of her adult life living in the Helena valley and north hills area. 

            Amy had various occupations throughout her life.  She worked for health insurance companies Blue Cross Blue Shield and Corvell, and later worked as a saleswoman for the Independent Record and Charter Communications.

            She was a volunteer firefighter with the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department for many years, a service in which she took great pride.  Amy was creative and loved to craft many different types of things ranging from clothing to furniture.  She loved to sing, especially karaoke, where she shared her talents and made many friends. 

            Amy was an endless well of love.  Outgoing and social, she always tried to focus on the positive and always had a smile at the ready.  She adored her grandchildren more than anything.  We are deeply saddened by her passing but are comforted by her legacy of love.

            Amy is survived by her son K.J. Olsen and son Nickolas Salle and his wife Aubrey Salle and their children, Emma and Liam, and Luke, who is expected to be born July 20, just one day before Amy’s birthday.  She is survived by sister Becky Henke of Chester, MT and brothers Hollend, Leif, Josh, Seth and sister Dancee.

            A small memorial service will be held at the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, May 11 at 3 p.m.  Please bring memories and pictures to share  Donations can be made in her name to the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
