Barbara Ann Bales, 62, of Great Falls, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Peace Hospice from Cancer. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home. Per her wishes, there will be no services.

Barbara was born on April 15, 1955 in Great Falls MT to parents Jerry and Bette Bales. She spent much of her younger life growing up in Belt and in Fairfield, MT. She later attended Great Falls Vocational Tech where she earned a degree as a Dental Assistant. Throughout her life she worked primarily as a laborer, but also spent time working for the Hearing Aid Institute of Great Falls. A woman of great faith, Barbara was a cherished member of the Solid Rock Bible Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and by all of those who knew her.

She is survived by her father, Jerry Bales Sr.; daughter, Amanda (Danny) Geter; sister, Candace (Craig) Rapp; brother, Jerry L. Bales Jr.; grandsons, Damir and Demarcus Geter; nieces, Camey Rapp and Natasha (James) Rapp, and nephew, Tytus (Lynn) Rapp.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Bette Bales and her sister, Linda Bales.

Thank You to all the staff of Peace Hospice, the nurses at the Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute, Dr. Tang and his staff, for all the love, care, and compassion shown to Barbara throughout her battle.
