Bud Quickenden Jr.

Webster “Bud” Quickenden Jr., 94, passed away June 12, 2018. A Public Visitation will be held Sunday, June 17 from 5-7 PM at the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held Monday June 18th at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery with military honors.

Bud was born September 6, 1923 to Effie Fisk and Webster Quickenden Sr. in Miles City, MT.  He attended schools in Great Falls, graduating in 1941 from Great Falls High School.  Bud went into the Army Corp after graduation and flew many missions over Japan.  He married Gloria and had Pam and Ronnie.  He worked for Bison Motor Co. for over 40 years, from parts boy to new and used car sales manager.  He won many awards for top salesman.  He met Betty Bergan at Bison Motors. They were married in 1952 and had a daughter, Deborah Ann.  Betty passed away in 1998.  Bud married Betty Willey and they were together almost 20 years before she passed away.

Bud was in the Shriners Horse Patrol.  He had many hobbies, including fishing, boating, horses, and motorcycles.  In later years he enjoyed bowling, golf and wood working.  He had a smile that would melt your heart.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents and his wives.  He is survived by his sister, Betty Jo Dusko; daughters, Deborah Nicholls and Pam Holgarth; son, Ronnie Quickenden and numerous nieces and nephews.
