Carolyn Ann Tongate

Carolyn Ann Tongate, 69, of Great Falls, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Peace Hospice of natural causes. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 9:00 AM in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Immediately following visitation in the Rose Room Chapel at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery.

Carolyn was born on October 18, 1948 in Devils Lake, ND to Robert and Mary Jones. She was raised in Great Falls, later meeting the love of her life, George Tongate. George also facilitated her favorite hobby, “spending pop’s money.”

Survivors are husband, George Tongate; daughters, Janet (Ron) Williams of Spokane, WA, Shannon Blancher of Great Falls; son, Shane (Jennifer) Blancher of Coeur d’ Alene, ID; sisters Verna (Ron) McInnis, Leah (Frenchy) Johnson; brothers, Howard (Jan) Jones, Raymond (Lola) Jones, Charley (Marilyn) Jones; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She goes on to join her daughter, Terrie Monahan.
