On Saturday, November 18, 2017, the world lost a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather when David Dickman, 68, of Great Falls passed away at home after a short bout with cancer, surrounded by his adoring family.  A Visitation will be Tuesday, November 21st from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 22nd at 11:00 AM at the Faith Center, 4700 10th Ave. South.  Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. 

Born October 26, 1949 in Great Falls to Virginia and Bernard Dickman, Dave attended the local schools and graduated from Great Falls High.   He worked for the Railroad and Postal Service before starting Dickman Excavation Sand and Gravel in 1970. 

Dave was a large donor of the Sletten Cancer Institute, Toys for Tots, Cascade County Sheriff’s Association, the Rescue Mission, and contributed to the local emergency disaster needs.  He loved hunting and fishing, restoring classic cars, entertaining family and friends, and spending time at the family lake home. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra; daughter, Lexi Lee; sons, Shawn (Jessica) Dickman, Kyle (Chelsie) Edwards, Kirk (Debbie) Paulsen, Beau (Eleesha) Paulsen; brothers, Bernard (Deb) Dickman; nine grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Dickman.
