Dolores "Dee" Standley

Dolores “Dee” Standley, 84, a long time resident of Cascade, passed away Monday the 27th of May surrounded by her family at Benefis Health System.

Dee was born on November 29th, 1934 in Terry, MT to John Dalke and Anna Weishaar.  Dee graduated from Power, MT in 1952. She found her passion for bookkeeping in the early 1980s when she began working for Buttrey Realty. She continued working at the same company until her passing. Dee was also involved in the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority for many years where they held fundraisers and charity events for the local community.

Dolores wed the love of her life, Robert Charles Standley, on May 10th, 1985 in Coeur d’Alene, ID. They had known each other from high school, but began dating in the early 80s after Bob asked the fiery red head to dance at a street dance in Lincoln, MT. Dee enjoyed music, bowling, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; her three children Scott Milner, Donna Milner, and Zoe Juden; her sisters Alice Martin, Lorraine Perissini, and Shirley Grossman; and her 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Dalke; brothers Raymond and Rueben Dalke; sisters Bert Jefferies and Mary Ann Beck; and her son Justin Milner.

A celebration of life was planned by her family and will take place on June 9th, 2019 at 2pm at her granddaughters house (10 Brookwood Lane Great Falls, MT 59405). All donations can be made to the St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
