Douglas Alan Caudle of Black Eagle, Montana, 67, passed peacefully in his sleep on the morning of June 23rd at Grandview Hospice in Great Falls.
Doug was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1951 and was lured by his eldest brother Jim to the lush green forests of Oregon, where he began his family and discovered his deep passions for woodworking, gardening and candle making; hobbies he carried throughout his life. By trade, Doug was a talented carpenter and builder. He was a kind man who touched the hearts of all who were blessed to meet him. In his later years, while living in Montana, he discovered pottery and enjoyed spending time at Paris Gibson Square Museum. Our hearts are broken but we find great comfort knowing all the lives he has touched with his friendship, kindness and giving nature.
Doug is survived by his daughters Alicia Caudle (Paul), Sarah Caudle French and Lindsey Caudle, grandchildren Finn, Ismael and soon to be born Ixtel, and brothers Jim Caudle (Jan) and Charlie Caudle (Toni).
