Born in Portsmith, VA, to Florence Giorgi Miller and Andrew Miller, Drew grew up in Lindenwold, NJ, where he graduated from high school.  He entered the US Air Force shortly after graduation and served for 21 plus years from July 9, 1964 to July 5, 1995.  He met his first wife, Patricia Pesha in Billings, MT in 1967.  They were married on July 22, 1968 until Pat’s death on June 2, 1999.    During that time his service took him to Mountain Home, ID; Viet Nam; Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls; Germany; McGuire AFB, New Jersey; Turkey and back to Malmstrom.  The position he held, of which he was most proud, was the Chief of Security Police in Diyarbakir, Turkey.  One of a very few NCOs to hold such a position.

After leaving the Air Force, he worked in the life insurance business for 12 years, including a New York Life Insurance Underwriter.  In 2002 he met Greydanus Miller, who became his second wife in 2004.  Drew volunteered as an Easter Seals VIP fundraiser, was a Boy Scout leader, serving on the MT State Boy Scout Council, he was also a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus in the 4th Degree, Council #9395 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Drew enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in Montana, as well as visiting his sister in MO.  While he was around the house, he enjoyed leather carving, woodworking and gardening.  At age 50 he returned to school, entering the University of Great Falls and graduating with a four-year B.S. degree in Business Administration.  After graduation, he worked in management positions and semi-retired at age 56 but worked as a school bus driver for Big Sky Bus Company.  Once fully retired, he began traveling with his wife.  His favorite destination was the Caribbean.

Those who preceded him in death include his parents, Andrew J. and Florence Miller; first wife, Patricia in June 1999.

Drew is survived by his loving wife, Greydanus; son, Andrew J. (Cynthia) Miller; granddaughters, Tamara J. (Tim Garland) and Andrea J; great-grandson, Andrew J.
