Elenora Keller

Elenora Keller, 89, of Belt, MT, passed away September 21, 2017 at The Grandview of natural causes. A memorial service will be held at 11am on September 29, 2017 at the Belt Community Church. Elenora is to be reunited with her husband Russell Keller in burial following her service at the Manchester cemetery.

Elenora Keller was born on November 1, 1927 in Twin Brooks, South Dakota to Harry and Viola Bohn. Fell in love and married Russell Keller in Watertown South Dakota. After selling the dairy farm, they moved to Great Falls in 1955, later moving to Belt in 1958 They had a wonderful life together until Russell's death on November 5, 1992.

Elenora was a homemaker and was recognized for having a green thumb with her unique knack for gardening. She loved Sunday lunches with family where she loved to challenge the grandkids and great-grandkids to games of marbles. Her outgoing personality helped her to keep up with friends at tea parties, and card games.

Service to community was also very important to Elenora who became versed in the bible while attending the Belt Bible study group. She served others as a hostess at the Belt Senior Citizen Center and drew joy from reading poetry and finding pride in affiliation as a Red Hatter. Additionally, she was a devoted and active member of the Methodist Woman's Society.

Those who have preceded Elenora in death include her husband, Russell Keller; her parents; seven siblings; a grandson, Karl Keller, and great-grandson, Immanuel Langston.  She leaves behind her daughters, Nadine (Danny) Hardinger, Paulette (Ross) Ratliff, Donna (Jim) Lewis, and son Gene (Tena) Keller. She is also survived by her brother Stanley (Pat) Bohn, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; Sam Seehafer (brother-in-law) Phyllis Bohn (sister-in-law).
