Our Deepest Sympathy to all my loving cousins. We hope you find comfort that your Dad is now with your Mom and Jesus, where he wanted to be; and that he is now out of pain and at peace. My favorite memory of Uncle Jay shows his true heart. I was about 4 years old, I woke up one morning and couldn't find my brand new black patent leather shoes with a strap that swiveled to the heel. I went down stairs and cried to my Mom and Dad that I couldn't find my new shoes, they tried to comfort me as they told me I didn't have any new shoes and that I probably just had a dream that I did. When Uncle Jay heard my story he laughed his boisterous laugh and then promptly took me to the shoe store and bought me a brand new pair of black patent leather shoes with a strap that swiveled to the heel. I will always remember him that day as he carried me up the sidewalk, while I was smiling down at my brand new black shiny shoes.
Rest In Peace Uncle Jay, we will miss you.
