Emma Mae Pengilly, 80, of Great Falls, passed away on May 21, 2019 of natural causes. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 25 at 10:00 AM at Croxford Funeral Home in the Rose Room Chapel.
Emma was born on April 8, 1939 in Cottage Grove, OR to Charles and Mattie (Wilson) Loveall. She was raised in Montana, graduating from Chinook High. While in Chinook she met and married the love of her life, Eugene Earnest Pengilly. The two were married in Chinook on May 26, 1957, remaining together and raising 3 children, for 47 years until Eugene’s passing.
Emma wore many hats, she farmed outside of Chinook, waited tables in High School, homemaker, bartender, bowling treasurer, and later worked with her daughter at Loaf N’ Jug.
She enjoyed raising and racing pigeons, bowling, fishing, fish fries, music, dancing, beading, darts, turquoise, Montana Agates, “Diablo”, John Wayne westerns, card games, dice games, cars, and last but not least, The Saints.
Emma leaves behind son, Edwin Pengilly; daughter, Naomi Streifel; brothers, Ed Delzer and David Loveall; 14 grandkids and 16 great-grandkids.
She goes on to join her husband, Eugene Pengilly; daughter, Amy Morrow; and her parents.
