Fayetta Squires Donnelly, 88, passed away June 20, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held this Saturday, June 23rd at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sun River, with a Visitation starting at 10:00 AM. In consideration of the area flooding, the Burial will be postponed until later in the week.
Faye was born in Great Falls on January 17, 1930 to Merrill and Ethel (Tintinger) Squires. She married Donald Donnelly on March 20, 1948. They lived in Big Sandy, Eden, Fairfield Bench and on Gore Hill in Great Falls. In 1972 they bought a farm in Sun River. She spent her life raising her six children and doing farm chores. Even in her last years when she lived at Pam’s, she was sweeping and cleaning. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over the years she had many callings. After Don’s death she went on a Mission for the Church in Florida. She always attended her children’s, grandkid’s and great-grandkid’s activities.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don; son, Richard; her parents; sister, Aucille and brother, Larry. She is survived by sons, John, Steve, Bruce (Sherry) and Norman; daughter, Pam (Jim) Fryberger; daughter-in-law, Sherma, and her sisters, Adi and Punky; 25 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Faye kept her date with Don, the love of her life, but only after keeping him waiting in Heaven for 25 years.
