Fredrick Robert Green, 76, of Great Falls, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at a local hospital. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 2, at 1:00 PM in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery.
Fred was born January 12, 1942 in Anaconda, MT to the late Robert Green and Veda Ritzschke. He graduated from Great Falls High. In 1967 he married the love of his life, Freda Freudenrich. Throughout his working life, he held various jobs, from his time with Montana Deaconess to Shopko.
Fred loved to bowl. He was an avid league bowler, but reserved Monday nights for Bingo. He was a proud lifelong member of the Elks and Eagles.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Freda; brother, Jim (Elizabeth) Green; daughters, Janet Lyle and Julie M. Biera; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Fred was preceded in passing by his sister, Joan M. Bennett.
