George Hofer Sr. Obituary

George Hofer Sr., 78, passed away peacefully August 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 15, 1939 at the King Ranch Colony. He moved to Surprise Creek Colony, near Stanford, MT in 1963, where he made his home until his passing. There he married his wife, Elizabeth, June 14, 1970 and together they raised four children.

George leaves to mourn his loving wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Kathryn (Arnold) Stahl of Drumheller, Alberta; daughter, Helen (Peter) Hofer of Cardston, Alberta; son, George Hofer, of Stanford, MT; daughter, Glenda (Richard) Stahl of Drumheller, Alberta; grandchildren, Keith, Janelle, Ryan, Austin, Darren, Amberly, Kelsey, Brentley and Karmen; sister, Susie (Dave) Stahl of Gildford, MT; brother, Rev. Sam (Sarah) Hofer of Stanford, MT; sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Joe) Hofer of Stanford, MT and many relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Surprise Creek Colony, with burial following at the Colony Cemetery.
