Judy Lynn Reimann

Judy Lynn Reimann, 60, of Great Falls, passed away 11/20/2018 at Benefis Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Judy was born on December 3, 1957 in Sidney, MT, to Burton Theodore Torgerson and Irene Evelyn Torgerson (Sharbono). Judy grew up with, and later married Monte Reimann on Feb. 24, 1975 in Lambert, MT.

Judy attained degrees in Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Paralegal Studies from the University and immediately went to work for the state of Montana as an adult probation and parole officer for twenty four years. During this time, she was responsible for writing the training manual for the new probation and parole officers for the state of Montana. Judy was proud of being and excellent marksman, and was a Montana State firearms instructor.

She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Great Falls, MT. She enjoyed spending Sabbath with her friends and family. She had great appreciation for the beauty in God’s creation. She enjoyed her Sabbath afternoon drives together with her best friends where she would experience the mountains, meadows, plains, wildlife, and streams of the Montana that she loved.

Survivors include:
Husband – Monte Reimann of Great Falls
Mother – Irene Torgerson of Lambert.
Daughter – Prescilla (Ron) Claver of Great Falls.
Sons – Clifton of Fort Benton and Clinton (Jillian) Reimann of Great Falls.
Siblings – Vickie Hunter (CA), Meryl (David) Mullin (MT), Darrel Torgerson (MT), Stacey Brown (MT), Monte (Vernette) Torgerson (MT).
Grandchildren – Trevor, Julia, Kendra, Ian, Junior, Kayla, Adam, Jenna, Mason, Sierra, Brayden.

Those who have preceded Judy in death include her father, Burton Torgerson, in-laws, George and Florence Reimann, brothers-in-law, Wayne Christensen and Curt Brown; nephews, Brad Reimann, Brandon Hunter and Jayde Torgerson.
