Lois Marlene Pottratz

Lois Marlene Pottratz, 79, of Great Falls, MT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home.

Lois was born on August 10, 1940 in Great Falls, MT to parents Louis and Julia Strosky. She attended school in Great Falls, graduating from Great Falls High in 1958. Soon there after she met Ralph F. Pottratz in Great Falls, who she married in June of 1960. They were together for 16 years, and had two sons, Eric and Jeff. This union later ended in 1976.

Lois spent much of her career life working as a Savings and Loan Officer for First Federated Savings & Loans. She also worked for several other banking institutions as well, such as Heritage Bank, American Savings of CA, and Credit Associates. In her free time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, picture puzzles, reading, arts & crafts. Lois also loved going for rides along the Missouri River and along the Willow Creek Reservoir.

Lois is survived by her sons, Eric Pottratz of Black Eagle, MT and Jeff Pottratz of Great Falls, MT; sister, Karen Lysne of Palm Springs, CA; grandchild, Caleb Pottratz; and great-grandchild, Charlotte Pottratz.

She was preceded in passing by her parents.
