On November 9, 1934, Lola Deanne was born to Jesse Ordean Washburn and Lola Sarah Miller, in Venice Utah. She was the first of their 6 children. During her life the family lived many places, including Utah, New Jersey, Wyoming, and Arizona.
One event in her life that she holds most dear is serving a mission in Brazil for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After her return from her mission, she married the love of her life, Daniel Elsworth Schnebly, on September 8, 1960, in the St George, UT Temple. They began their life together in Arizona, Gila Bend and then Mesa. Daniel was attending ASU at this time. During this time their first 4 children were born: Gerald, Deena, Mary Ann, and Grant.
Then life circumstances happened and they had a need to move, which took them to Sacramento, CA. Here 2 more children were born: Kenneth and Lorena.
After 4 years in Sacramento, another move was needed. This time to Ridgecrest, CA in the Mojave Desert. This was just a short stay, a year and a half, when a good job for Daniel presented itself in Oxnard, CA. So once again a family move. This time to the coast.
They resided here for 22 years until Daniel retired. Then they made they hoped would be one last move to Snowflake, AZ. The town where Daniel was born and raised and loved. As they aged, help was needed so in 2008 Lorena moved to Snowflake to assist. She did an amazing job. Once again life circumstance stepped in a move was made. This time to the way too cold, Vaughn, MT. After just a year and a half, on November 20, 2019, her wonderful life on earth has come to a close. Now she resides in the Spirit World with all her loved ones who passed on before.
Lola Deanne was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother Robert and Sister Gloria, and her son Gerald.
