Marilyn Carol (Morran) Burgmaier

Marilyn C. Morran Burgmaier, 74, of Power, MT, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 5, 2018. A Memorial Service in honor of her life will be held this Saturday, May 12, at 4:00 PM in the Kingdom Hall, 926 Smelter Ave, Great Falls, MT. Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home.

Marilyn was born on November 17, 1943 to parents Ralph Taylor and Cora Brenden in Glasgow, MT. The family later moved to Havre, MT where she grew up and attended school, graduating from Havre High School. Shortly there after she married Curtis Morran on May 14, 1962. Together they’re lives were blessed with one son, Todd. Sadly, Curtis has an untimely passing December 4, 1988. Some years later, Marilyn met her loving husband Robert Burgmaier. They were wed in 1998 in Coeur d’Alene, ID and have been together ever since, blessed with over 20 years of marriage.

Prior to her second marriage, Marilyn worked in Advanced Litho Printing and in the stockyards as a pen rider for Great Falls Livestock. After marrying Robert, she took great joy in being a homemaker and enjoyed time spent assisting her husband Bob with his veterinary practice. She also enjoyed painting, sewing crafts, gardening and yard work.

The only thing Marilyn loved more than animals was her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved spending time engaging in conversations with people about God’s Kingdom and His purpose for the earth and for mankind.

Marilyn was preceded in passing by her parents, Ralph and Cora Taylor.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Burgmaier of Power, MT; son, Todd Morran of Lake Stevens, WA; sister, Donna Barlow of Great Falls, MT; and by two grandchildren.
