Marjorie (Marge)  Shannon (Saurer) Feback

Marjorie Shannon Feback, 71, of Fort Shaw, received her angel wings peacefully on December 16, 2018 at her home. 

A celebration of life gathering is being planned for a later date in 2019 with inurnment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Great Falls, MT.

Marge was born on July 1, 1947 in Philipsburg, MT to Theodore and Mildred Saurer. She graduated Granite High School in 1965 and then moved to Great Falls, and that is where she met the love of her life Eugene C. Feback and they later married on 2/4/1975 in Great Falls, MT. Together, they bought a house and moved out to Fort Shaw and built their life with two beautiful children along the way. They spent 33 wonderful years together before Eugene passed away 2/17/2008. 

Marge worked as a book keeper for Gusto Distributing and Wiseman & Sons, before coming a stay at home mom of two beautiful children.  After raising her children, she started working part time as a nutritional cook for Cascade County Senior Center in Fort Shaw. She retired from there after 20 years of service.  

Marge was an active member of the United Methodist Woman's Group at the Simms United Methodist Church, and Home Dem Club in the valley. She was also very active in her children's activities such as Boy Scout Troop 26  and 4-H Club. Marge was a very kind soul and helped all in need. She volunteered for annual pie sale at the church, and also making delicious cakes for special events in the surrounding communities for weddings and birthdays and etc. 

Marge loved entering baked goods/canned goods in the county fair. She also loved playing Bingo with her seniors at the Senior Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed putting puzzles together and could play a ruthless game of card on weekend and special holidays with family and friends. 

Survivors include daughter; Shannon M. Feback of Missoula, Son; Shawn E. Feback (Nicole Feback) of Fort Shaw.  6 Grandchildren: Jamie Castle of Great Falls, Jada Castle of Missoula, Jane Castle and Jace Castle of Choteau, Zachary Olson and Catilynn Olson of Fort Shaw. Very close and cherished friends; Celeste Harju, Barb Anderson, Joyce St. Piere, Barb Rooney, and many others.  

Marge cherished her friends that are left behind. She enjoyed her Friday shopping day and out to lunch group with ladies.  She also had a special love for her fur babies and grand fur babies, which are left behind.  

Those who have preceded Marge in death include her Husband Eugene C. Feback, Brother; Robert R. Saurer, Sister In Law; Kathleen Saurer, Parents; Theodore E. Saurer and Mildred R. Saurer, Step Mother; June Saurer Grandmother Jenny Saurer, and Grandma Wickburg, Aunt Floretta and many more.  

Memorial donations are suggested to Sun River Valley Historical Society and Peace Hospice of Great Falls,MT.
