Pearl Ruth (Wiegand) Morton

Pearl R. Morton passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018. She was born November 6, 1916 to Henry and Edith Wiegand in Dobson, MT. Pearl was raised on the family ranch near Square Butte, north of Cascade. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10 AM at Highland Cemetery.

Pearl was wed to Jim Morton and together they worked numerous ranches before moving to Great Falls, where she held many secretarial jobs. She was active in Job’s Daughters, Home Demonstration and the Moose Lodge for several years. One of the proudest accomplishments in Pearl’s 101 years was to meet the fourth generation of her family.

Pearl is survived by her daughter, Karen (Gary) Rindal of Cascade, ID; grandson, Darin (Sue) Rindal of Great Falls; granddaughter, Kristen (Bill) Sheahan and great-granddaughter, Josie Pearl of Alexandria, VA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Pearl in death are her loving husband; an infant daughter; her parents; and brothers, Harry and Roy Wiegand.
