Ralph Vincent Yohe, 75, of Sun River passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at home of natural causes. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 25th at 11am at Westside Methodist Church with family burial to follow at Sun River Cemetery.
Vince was born on May 10, 1943 in Denver, CO to Ralph and Gladys Yohe. He attended grade school in Boulder, CO and graduated from Stuttgart, AR in 1961 after moving there to help family in Arkansas during his high school years. He then joined the Army from 1961-1963,
Vince married Theresa Martinez in 1966 and had three sons while working his way through school attaining a bachelor’s degree and becoming an RN. His marriage did not last but his degree led him into Environmental Health Safety and Hazard for Digital Equipment Corp. at the Phoenix branch. (This is part of Hewlett Packard). Due to downsizing he retired from Digital Equip Corp. Vince moved to Montana working at various places and he especially liked his part time job at the Sun River Cemetery until he had a stroke in Sept of 2009, when he fully retired.
Vince was a member of the Sun River Methodist Church and a Special Olympics coach for several years in AZ and MT. Additionally he was a graduate and team leader for the “Walk to Emmaus” men’s group in western MT.
Vince loved family, golf, reading, yard work and Bible study.
Survivors include partner, Kathy Buell of Sun River; sons, Sean (Tina) of Goodyear, AZ, Brett (Jen) of Goodyear AZ, Colin (Karen) of WI; sister, Cyndy Kincheloe of MT; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
