Ronald Gene Lasher

Ronald Gene Lasher, of Great Falls, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 on his 59th birthday, after battling COPD. Per his final wishes, cremation will take place.

Ron was born on June 11, 1959 in Great Falls, MT, to parents Robert and Donna Lasher. He attended some schooling in Great Falls, but later received a certificate in Welding from Job Core.  During his younger years, Ron married Brenda Cozino. Together their lives were blessed with two sons and one daughter. They later divorced in 2002.

As a young adult, Ron worked on oil rigs which led to his love for mechanics. Something he enjoyed doing for ten years of his working career until his accident in 1997.

Ron was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, and floating the river with his sons. As he came to the end of his life journey, Ron enjoyed watching car shows on tv and spending as much time as he could with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived in passing by his daughter, Tara Lasher of Great Falls; sons, Boyd & Trevor Lasher, both of Great Falls; son-in-law, Aaron Borgstrom of Great Falls; sisters, Roberta (Donald) Komotios of Cincinnati, OH, Holly Lasher of Great Falls; sister-in-law, Brenda Lasher of Great Falls; brothers, Mike Green, Kelly (Laurie) Fletcher of Great Falls, and Kevin (Michelle) Fletcher of New Mexico; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by the passing of his parents, Robert Lasher and Donna Fletcher; brother, Larry Lasher; sister, Lorri Lasher.
