Ronnie was born February 6, 1941 in Concrete, ND to Shirley Stevenson.  Shirley married Neil Maxwell, a widower, on June 24, 1944.  Ronnie joined six new siblings and six more were born to this union.  He grew up and attended school in Concrete.  The family moved to the Great Falls area in 1956, where he finished school in Dutton and Cascade, graduating from CHS in 1958.  He married Candy Ann Coon on October 20, 1963 in Helena, MT and they were blessed with one son, Allan.

Ronnie worked at the refinery in Great Falls after high school.  He was in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1967 to 1969.  He was a teamster, driving his own dump trucks on missile site construction.  He then drove for various companies as a member of the Teamsters’ Union, primarily on road construction.  After retirement, he delivered the Great Falls Tribune in Cascade, then worked at the Cascade Container Site until illness forced full retirement.

Ronnie was a teamster extraordinaire.  He was also the master of the Ford 390 V-8 engine.  He spent a great amount of time in his shop, working on vehicles.  There was also a lot of male bonding in the shop, with brothers, brothers-in-law, Dad and many friends partaking in the festivities.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Shirley Maxwell; brother, Larry (Barb) Maxwell; sisters, Vivian (Melvin) Goschke, Janet (Roger) Rohrer, Norma (Ken) Hodges, Carol (Tom) Klock, Margaret (Randy) Ferres, Phyllis Bickers; brothers-in-law, Mike Bohmer and Tom Klock; father-in-law, Robert Coon; mothers-in-law, Sarah and Rose Coon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Candy; son, Allan Robert (Paula) of Colbert, WA; sisters, Cathy Evans of Spokane, WA and Susan Bohmer of Shelby; brothers, Robert (Dennise) of Yakima, WA, Howard (Mary Pat) of Cascade, LaVerne (Judy) of Frazee, MN; grandsons, Kameron (Samantha) and Zack (Savannah) Maxwell; two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his boyhood friend and uncle, Les (Zelda) Stevenson of Great Falls; sisters-in-law, Tammy (Roger) Wright, Cathy Summers, Denise (Skip) Reissing.
