Westley K. Bromlie “Wes”, 64, passed away on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019, at his home. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home. No services have been planned at this time.
Wes was born on July 15, 1955 in Dillon, MT to Wilmer E. Bromlie and Ellen Bromlie. He was raised in Butte and moved to Great Falls in 1970 where he graduated from CMR in 1973.
Westley served in the Air Force in January of 1975 and received an honorable discharge after his tour of duty was completed. He returned to Great Falls and began a heavy equipment operator apprenticeship from 6-78 to 6-81. He worked at various construction sights, highway construction positions and as an operator at the land fill with Montana Waste.
Uncle Wes loved doing things with his family. He wanted his nieces and nephews to experience all that Montana embodies; fishing, camping, hunting, visiting various historical towns and sights. His favorite place was Elk Ridge. Wes also enjoyed coaching basketball.
He is survived by his sisters, Polly Brown, Judy Hartelius and Jeanine Bromlie; son, Sean; and granddaughter, Audrey. Wes will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer Ellen Bromlie; brothers, William Bromlie Jr., Ron Bromlie, Dan Bromlie; and sister, Helen Lane.
Uncle Wes lived life to the fullest and loved every moment. His philosophy was that everyone should look at life like a child and take it all in …and love it.
