Billie Brackett

Wilhelmina Brackett, affectionately known by many as Billie, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 with her loving family by her side.

Billie was born on October 6, 1948 in Dillon, MT to Ross A Harkness and Nadine N Eberlin. She was raised here for much of her upbringing and attended Barrett High School. She moved to Great Falls, MT later in life where she began helping the community as a respiratory therapist at the Columbus Hospital. However, the hospital couldn’t keep her in Great Falls. Billie loved traveling the world but always relished in coming back to her Great Falls home.

Billie tried her hand in an assortment of hobbies. She loved gardening and could often be found with her hands deep in the dirt. Bille had her own musical talent as well. She was gifted in piano and would sing the most beautiful melodies. Most of all, she loved her animals. They were like children to her, and she spoiled each and every one of them.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Teresa Simpson of Great Falls, MT; her grandsons, Kevin Wolfe, Andrew Simpson, and Zach Dillon; her granddaughter, Kristina Simpson; and her great granddaughter, Cassandra Dillon, all of Great Falls, MT.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Gaines; and her parents, Ross Harkness and Nadine Eberlin.
