Bonnie Counts LaRoque

Bonnie Counts LaRoque, 84, of Sidney MT died peacefully at the SHC Extended Care on September 7, 2022. 

Bonnie was born May 11th, 1938 to Arnold and Leona Ellingson in Great Falls, MT.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother David Ellingson and by the love of her life Virgil Counts.

Bonnie loved dolls, dancing, cooking, cleaning and decorating.  Her favorite movie was Dirty Dancing and she loved watching any Disney movie with her grandchildren.  Bonnie loved the outdoors.  Often the family spent summers camping and winters snowmobiling.  Bonnie often would walk rather than drive.

Bonnie was a great care giver and had worked as a CNA along with cleaning houses and businesses.  She was very active up until her last days, always socializing and playing bingo, card games all afternoon.  She had many friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved brother Jim Ellingson (Cindy) of Great Falls, MT.  Her three children Theresa Roark (Randy) of Ocalla, WA, Mark Lemerond (Gentrie) of Sidney, MT and Colleen Brown (Ron) of Vaughn, MT.

She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Tiana Roark, Randy David Roark (Kristen), Sydney Schmidt (Jesse), Hailey Lemerond, Piper Lemerond, Nichole Bird (Neil) and Marc Lewis and 13 grandchildren, Kala Roark, Trenton Roark, Randy Roark Jr, Rajko Roark, Lynlee Schmidt, Nora Schmidt, Alice Schmidt, Taliyah Hanway, Shylah Hanway, Mirayah Hanway, Winter Rose Bird and Neil Bird Jr.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 10am at the Highland Cemetery in Great Falls MT.  A reception will follow at Croxford Funeral Home.  Cards and flowers can be sent to Croxford Funeral Home in care of Bonnie LaRoque.
