Carole Mae Hill Lefebre
died Tuesday morning, Aug 5, 2014 after a long illness.
Carole was born September 18, 1945 (or 1948) in Portal North Dakota to Gloria Marie Altringer Hill and Virgil Clarence Hill. In the early 1950s, she moved with her family to Great Falls at Mount Royal where she attended schools. Carole entered the workforce young in her life to help provide for her family, babysitting, house-cleaning, yard-work, and many odd jobs.
Carole married Johnny Lefebre August 9, 1980. They had three sons: Rich, Loren and Mike, and a daughter Dodie. Carole worked hard to raise and provide for them with her job at the Center for Mental Health. She enjoyed ceramics, crochet and crafts with her sister-in-laws, and she loved playing card/board games, dominoes, bingo and playing pool. Together John and Carole owned the Caboose Bar and raised their children with lots of love, family gatherings, fishing, camping, and traveling. They always had kids, pets and friends in their home and welcomed all.
Carole was preceded in death by her son Rich, her parents, her brothers Ronny Merrill, Wayne and Virg Hill, her nephew Bobby Falcon Jr.
She is survived by her husband Johnny Lefebre, sons Loren (Kimberly) Lefebre and Mike (Kris) Lefebre, daughter Dodie Walter, many step and foster kids, daughter-in-laws Kelli, Tina, and LeeAnn, 18-grandchildren, 10-great grandkids.
She is also survived by her sister Lavonne (Carl) Mallory, Judy (Gene) Schrock, brothers Billy (Cindy) Hill, Hank (Vicki) Hill, Vern (Barb) Hill, Pete Hill, and so many cousins and extended family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Croxford Funeral Home Mon, Aug 11 at 2:00 PM. Burial following at Highland Cemetery and a reception to follow at the Eagles Manor.
