Cecelia "Tootsie" Bernice Robinson left this world on June 9, 2021, three days shy of her
85th birthday. She was born in Vandalia, Montana to Mabel Mae (Robinson) and Adrian
Damman on June 12, 1936.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, brothers Freddie, Alvin, Eddie,
and Herman, and a sister Lola Marie.
She is survived by her remaining sister, Edith "Tiny" Dalby of Vancouver, WA, her daughter Jean
Beirley, (son in love Larry Clayton), son Wayne (Sylvia) Mattson of Great Falls, and sons Harold
(Jo) Robinson, and Ken Robinson of Conrad, and her "adopted son" John Kellum of Newport,
Oregon, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her favorite auntie, Ruth Robson, numerous nieces, nephews, and
cousins, best friend Gloria of Conrad, and her faithful to the end lapdog, Si.
She loved to crochet and every grandchild and most of her great grandchildren have been
recipients of her handmade crib or bed blankets.
She was blessed to have traveled across this country with her husband and sons, and to Ireland,
Amsterdam, and Hawaii with her daughter Jean. She loved family gatherings and especially
when her grandchildren were present.
She lived in Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, and briefly in California, but always managed to
return to the place she loved most, Montana. She lived in Glasgow as a child, then as an adult
returned to Brady, Conrad, and Great Falls.
She was an avid bowler in the 60's and 70's bowling in multiple leagues with her husband
Harold. When she returned to Conrad, she joined a dart league and was known as the "dart
b**ch" before macular degeneration forced her to stop.
She died peacefully at home, with her family at her side, just the way she wanted it.
At her request, no service is scheduled. Family will meet later this summer to scatter her
remains "in the mountains" of Montana, per her orders.
We love you mom, grandma, great grandma, and will keep your memories forever close in
our hearts.
