Charles Kenneth Bucher passed away at the age of 69 from natural causes in his home on May 15, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 1 pm at the LDS Ward in Sun River, MT with Bishop Brad Opheim presiding.

Charles was born April 1, 1946 to Oliver Daniel Bucher and Carol Marguerite Bliven in Conrad, MT. Charles joined the Navy in 1964. He spent twenty years in the Navy before he retired in July 1986.

During high school he met Shirley Elnora Camphouse. They were married April 2, 1966 in Fairfield, MT. They had five children while stationed in Tennessee, Florida, California and Washington. After retiring from the Navy they moved back to Montana to be closer to family.

Charles Bucher is survived by his wife Shirley Elnora Camphouse Bucher; children Vesper (Todd) Harding of Simms, MT, Talona (Eric) Bakly of Great Falls, MT, Tena (Luke) Grigsby of Fairfield, MT, Brandy (Eric) Brandt of Vaughn, MT and Jay (Linnea) Bucher of Stocket, MT; twenty two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his father Oliver; mother Carol; brothers Richard and Steve Bucher.
