Welcome to the memorial page for

Clarence H. Coleman

December 28, 1939 ~ April 13, 2015 (age 75) 75 Years Old
The man of our house was the best man that we knew. In a world where reliability and stability are a gamble that every family takes, he stepped up and led the way where few could or even tried. On April 13th, 2015 he moved on to the next stage to wait and pave the way for those of us to follow. He was born in Rexburg, Idaho to Clarence G. and Arzetta P. Coleman on December 28th, 1939. He joined the army reserves in 1957 skipping his high school graduation and having his high school diploma mailed to him at Fort Knox. In 1968 he was part of the few National Guard Units to be called up to active duty in Vietnam. He served an honorable tour receiving the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. After moving to Montana, he retired from the Army Reserve, entering the Navy Reserve in Great Falls, MT. In 1984 he moved his family to Yellowstone National Park joining the Civil Service where they enjoyed 20 years of the best back yard there ever was. Retiring to Great Falls he enjoyed reconnecting with family and friends where he stayed until his final days. He is survived by his wife Kathy Coleman, his children Charlie Rushton, Sabrina Coleman, Erin Saxer, Taylor Hoffman, Matthew Hoffman, sister Helen Wilson and brother Ken Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was the best part of us and will never be forgotten. A graveside service will be held at Sun River Cemetery on April 16, 2015 at 2:00
